This year marks a momentous occasion for the AIDS Lifecycle, as it hosts its final event to raise awareness and funds for HIV and AIDS services. The Gold Coast Quilt Project is honored to participate in this deeply meaningful event, commemorating those lost and celebrating the resilience of the community.
On Friday, June 6, 2025, we will be present at the Candlelight Vigil held at the San Buenaventura State Beach Campground, where we will showcase our memorial quilt display. This display serves as a poignant reminder of the lives touched by HIV and AIDS, honoring both those we have lost and the ongoing efforts to fight against the epidemic.
We invite you to join us for this emotional and reflective evening. Our booth will be open to visitors, and we encourage you to stop by to learn more about the Gold Coast Quilt Project, share stories, and see the beautiful quilts created in remembrance of those we’ve lost. These quilts are not just pieces of fabric, but a powerful expression of love, grief, and hope for a future free of HIV/AIDS.
The AIDS Lifecycle’s final year is a celebration of the many strides we’ve made, but it’s also a reminder that the fight is not over. Your participation in events like the Candlelight Vigil helps us continue supporting vital services and honoring those who came before us. Together, we can ensure that their legacy endures.
We hope to see you there to honor the memories, share in the solidarity of the cause, and stand together as we continue to advocate for those affected by HIV and AIDS.
