Through tax-deductible contributions from supporters and grants, Quilt Project Gold Coast is committed to honoring those lost to the disease, educating the public about the history of HIV/AIDS in the Gold Coast, raising awareness about the ongoing pandemic that still infects dozens of people each year, and giving solace to those who have lost a loved one through the production of Quilt memorial panels.

We hope you can get involved with Quilt Project Gold Coast, whether by donating fabrics or funds, or by volunteering at our Quilting bees or displays, events and informational booths. We can also make a Quilt for someone you’ve lost (although you don’t need any advanced sewing skills to join us), and help you with designing the right tribute for your loved one.
